Happy Tuesday, friends! I am thrilled to be bringing a pixie-dust infused session to the blog today. Christina is a member of the class of 2018, and her magical session was one for the books. We met on a typical Florida summer afternoon- slightly cloudy with random spurts of rain which gave way to sunshine- at one of the grandest locations, and began the shoot. Between walking around and shooting, we chatted about all things Disney, travel, and future school plans. We share a love of list making, cats, and summertime, so you can be sure we hit it off splendidly. After an outfit change, we hopped on the monorail and sped off to the most magical place on earth, where we were greeted by sunshine and classic big band music. From then until sunset, we explored the kingdom, found some of the best spots for photos, and watched the lights on Main Street make their nightly debut under a pink cotton candy sky.
Christina is a stellar gal. She was a natural in front of the camera and her laughter was contagious, which left me smiling and laughing along with her throughout the afternoon. During her session, we chatted about college and the challenge of deciding on the right university to attend. At the time I was transferring to a new and completely different school, and Christina was in the midst of school touring, from the University of Pittsburgh to NYU and schools down here in Florida. Being an actress, screenwriter, or journalist are her dream jobs, and some of her favorite things are Ed Sheeran, Disney (of course), smoothie bowls, theater + shows, and Taylor Swift. Spending a month in Asia, exploring and learning about the cultures, along with visiting a Disney park or three, is on her bucket list. Christina, I had an absolute blast with you during your session and love the images we captured. I’m excited to see what the future holds for you, and wish you all the best!
Enjoy the images.
Have a magical week, friends!
Quote of the day: “”Life is too deep for words, so don’t try to describe it, just live it.”
Happy Monday! I couldn’t think of a better way to begin the week than by bringing Hope’s magical senior session to the blog. It was a day filled with fun, super corny jokes, golden sunshine, and sparkling- not sweating- thanks to the warm and sticky Florida evening. Hope and I met at Port Orleans Riverside: a southern style resort with a good deal of charm, and began her session. We explored the area, capturing images along the way, talking about auditions, Miss America (with whom she’s friends), Wishes, and how thankful we were it wasn’t raining. After meeting a friendly carriage horse and an outfit change, we hopped over to the most magical place on earth and continued on there, where the sun broke through the clouds and bathed Main Street in golden light.
Meeting Hope was like reuniting with a friend who you haven’t seen in a while, but pick right back up where you left off, even though we had never met in person before. We bonded over corny jokes, Disney magic, and the struggle of finding comfortable heels to wear. She is heading off to Ouachita Baptist University in the fall, loves ice cream, and her dream trip would be visiting all six Disney parks- from Anaheim to Orlando, Paris and beyond- in a month. Hope, your session was one in a million and I had an absolute blast with you! Let’s grab a Nutella fruit waffle sandwich when you’re back down in Florida. I wish you all the best!
Enjoy the images.
I hope your day is wonderful, friends!

Gabby: soccer pro, master of sarcasm, book lover, and beach goer.
I’ve known Gabby for a good while: we played soccer together for three years and she is one of the kindest, funniest, and coolest gals around. Photographing her senior session was a blast and we were able to incorporate her lifelong love of soccer into her images all while chatting about Disney, upcoming school plans, and how much we both love the beach. Gabby’s favorite reads include Harry Potter, she’s a big Disney fan (same), and absolutely loves Christmas. She’ll be wrapping up her AA degree and is majoring in Elementary Education in order to become a teacher. We finished her session right as the sun was setting, and because we had talked about our love of all things Chick-Fil-A her mom gave me a coupon for a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich, so our evening definitely ended on an awesome note. Gabby, I’m so thankful I was able to capture your senior photos, and wish you the best in all you set out to achieve!
Enjoy the images.
Have a lovely Thursday, friends! Fill it with kindness + memories.
Quote of the day: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Faith, trust, and pixie dust: the essential ingredients to making all your wishes and dreams come true. Add sunshine and a beautiful day to the mix, and a perfect senior session has been created. Molly’s session was one of these perfect days, minus a little bit of excessive Florida humidity and heat, and I’m beyond excited to bring her images to the blog today: sunshine, fun, magic, and more. We met in the most magical place on earth in the air conditioning (an invention for which I’ll forever be grateful), Molly in a glamorous Sorcerer Mickey DisneyBound ensemble with bags of other cute accessories and outfits for later which were toted around by her amazing dad, Chris who carried out the role of clothes wrangler like a champ.
We traipsed around the vacation kingdom of the world, finding the best spots with the best light, connecting over baked goods, cute Disney Etsy + Instagram shops, and photography. The park was astonishingly empty the evening of her session, and we were able to walk on to Dumbo and the carousel- no problem. An quiet Magic Kingdom on a Sunday in the summer is practically unheard of, and I’m thankful we were blessed with light crowds for her session. Molly is an artist, performer, and all-around talented gal (she made her own Minnie ears which she wore during her session!) and loves to sing in choir, bake, and practice photography. Her dream job is to work for Disney, and I can totally see that becoming a reality down the road. Molly, it was such a blast to hang out and I’m honored to be your senior photographer. I wish you all the best in your senior year + beyond!
Enjoy the images.
I hope you have a magical + relaxed week, friends!
