The class of 2018 is officially here, and I can’t think of a better way to kick off the season than with Taylor’s magical session! I’m thrilled to bring her pixie-dusted images to the blog today. It was a slightly cloudy day when we met at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort- a perfect backdrop for her first location with its pastel colors and white trim- which complimented Taylor’s beautiful and summery outfit. The session began there, and I’m sure we logged at least five miles over the course of our afternoon, walking around the Boardwalk, to the Yacht & Beach Club Resort, and on to Epcot, the Polynesian Resort, and Magic Kingdom: it was a proper leg day and you can be sure I’m counting it as a workout of sorts.
We avoided rain for the first part of Taylor’s shoot, but as we took a break to grab Starbucks (raspberry lemonade goodness) and have an outfit change, it began to let loose. Luckily, it was around that time we hopped on a monorail and made our way to the Polynesian, where the rain subsided and we were left with an absolutely stunning rainbow over the beach- a first for a shoot, and utterly magical. I still can’t quite believe we were treated to it. From the Polynesian to the most magical place on earth, we captured beautiful images, chatting about upcoming school plans, Disney, and traveling. After graduation, Taylor will be heading off to major in business, minor in music, be a part of a collegiate cheer squad, and join the school’s choir. She’s a performer at heart: cheering and singing are her passions, and performing on Broadway is one of her dreams. Taylor, your session was one in a million and I adore the images we captured on our adventure of a day! I wish you all the best in your senior year + beyond.
Enjoy the images.
Have a beautiful day, friends!

Riley in a few words: happiness and fun, with some of the most gorgeous hair ever. (Seriously, y’all. I’m a bit jealous.) Let me give a bit of backstory to her session: this spring was a pretty dry season- I didn’t have to reschedule any shoots, which was a blessing- but on Riley’s scheduled day- clouds started to form that were dark and gloomy enough to prompt us to reschedule. Right when we were supposed to begin the shoot, a proper monsoon let loose, an inexplicably rainy evening set in, and you can be sure I was thankful we weren’t caught in the wind and rain. Another day was set, and we met downtown, sunshine and no clouds, and began her session. From tucked away corners to hallways filled with light, we found some of the best spots and chatted along the way. Riley will be headed off to the University of North Florida in the fall to pursue a degree in nursing in order to work in pediatric care; she’s amazing with kids, and needles don’t phase her, so it’s a win-win. Riley, I adore the images we captured, and I wish you all the best in the fall + beyond!
Enjoy the images.
Happy Memorial Day, friends! I hope have a safe and sunny day remembering the sacrifices of others so that we may have our freedom.
Quote of the day: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Keith is a cool dude. He’s kind, plays football, and laughed at all of my lame jokes. We had his shoot planned for a while, and as the day of his session progressed, so did the clouds and dark skies. After careful radar-watching, we decided to postpone a few days, and I’m glad we did! The rescheduled day was clear, sunny, and absolutely beautiful. Keith + his girlfriend, Riley, and I met along an old-oak covered pathway by the beach, and began the shoot. We chatted about school, college plans, and life, shooting away and capturing some pretty stellar images. Keith, your shoot was an absolute blast and I wish you success in all you set out to accomplish!

Finish the week strong, friends!
Quote of the day: “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
Tale as old as time, true as it can be: when you combine laughter, a beautiful day, and fun, an unforgettable senior session is made. Madi had her session booked and planned out since last December, and everything finally came together in March when she flew in from Texas to the most magical place on earth. We met at the very beginning of the day’s golden hour, right as the sun began to lower and provide us with bright and beautiful light, and began her session. Beginning on Main Street, we traveled through the Magic Kingdom, from the land of tomorrow to the Teacups and other places filled with whimsy and golden light. Madi planned her outfits and accompanying details carefully- from a mad hatter Disneybound to a Texas A&M inspired outfit and more- and they were absolutely perfect for her session.
Madi is a hilarious gal with a personality fit for the Jungle Cruise: bright, witty, and honest. She was radiant during her session and as we hit it off as we chatted about life, a shared love of Disney, school, and stories from both of our lives. She flew in from Texas for her senior session, and during the same week marched through the Magic Kingdom with her high school band, and watched the premier of Beauty and the Beast in Disney Springs. How can a week get any better? After graduation, she will be heading off to Texas A&M to major in Electronic Systems and Engineering Technology/Science, and aspires to become a Disney Imagineer to work on animatronics and lighting systems for their shows and attractions, which I think is a perfect fit. Madi, your shoot was one in a million and finally being able to meet after months of planning was a blast! I wish you the best in all you set out to accomplish.

Have an absolutely magical week, friends!
