I can’t think of a better way to kick off the weekend than to bring my very first class of 2019 senior session to the blog! Say hello to Mackenzie: class of 2019 and an all around amazing gal. We met on a beautifully bright and sunny day, surrounded by bouncing music and wafting smells of cotton candy and popcorn. We made our way down Main Street and through the various lands, chatting about our respective states’ foods of choice (pierogies and wedding soup are well known in Pennsylvania, both of which I need to try), our favorite parts about Disney, and college plans.
After graduation in the spring, she will be heading off to pursue a major in physical therapy or occupational therapy; her dream job is to be a pediatric therapist. Mackenzie loves bowling (at which she’s pretty much a pro), card tricks, NYC, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and dancing. She is an absolute joy to be around, and I had such a great time on her session. Mackenzie, I loved getting to hang out and adore the images we captured! I wish you all the best in everything you set out to achieve.
Enjoy the images.
Have a fantastic Wednesday, friends!
Quote of the day: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
The most magical of places is only made better with friends, and especially those you haven’t seen in a while. The lovely Katie is one of those friends. I had the best of times traipsing down the candy colored Main Street and through the varied lands with her, catching up on our lives, dodging crowds, and taking photos along the way. We met at a photography retreat in the fall of 2016 and have kept in touch since, and I was thrilled when she asked about doing her senior photos in one of our shared favorite places.
Looking ahead to next fall, Katie will be heading off to major in nursing in order to pursue her passion of helping others. Dark chocolate and frappes are her guilty pleasures, and she currently leads a Bible study for girls at her school. We both want to visit Ireland some day, and she would also like to hop over to Germany to tour the castles there as well. Katie, I adored spending time with you and love the images we captured. I wish you all the best in everything you set out to achieve!
Enjoy the images.
Have a marvelous Thursday and weekend! Make it count.
Quote of the day: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My hearts leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”
Laughter, the beach, golden light, and a beautiful day. All are elements to a successful senior shoot, and Abby’s was overflowing with them. Her session began on a bright, cool afternoon at the beach and we wandered around the boardwalk and down to the sand, shooting and laughing, chatting about upcoming college plans and her passions. Abby has a heart for people and nursing: after graduation in the spring, she will be heading off to pursue a degree in nursing and later become a pediatric nurse practitioner. Hawaii and California are on her travel destination list, chocolate chip cookies are her guilty pleasure, and the ideal day would be spent on a tropical island. Probably with plenty of chocolate chip cookies. Abby, getting to hang out was such a blast, and I wish you all the best in your endeavors!
Enjoy the images.
Have a wonderful Monday, friends! Make this week a great one.
