When I posted a sneak peek of Kylie’s session, I said she’s a professional moonwalker. I still stand by that statement.
Kylie’s session was one in a million: we split our time between the countries of Epcot and the lands of the Magic Kingdom, and looked specifically for those areas that weren’t overtly Disney. (Even though we did sneak in a few pictures with Minnie ears.) We walked, we danced, talked about ostriches (her favorite animal), a shared love of Chick-Fil-A, and captured images along the way in two of our favorite places. She will be heading off to college this fall to pursue a degree in Early Education. Kylie is fantastic with kids, and this seems like a perfect fit to me. Kylie, I absolutely adore your images and I’m so excited to bring them to the blog today! I wish you all the best in whatever you set out to accomplish.
(PS, if you’ve ever wondered what an ostrich sounds like, here you go: Ostrich Noise.)
Enjoy the images.
Have a fantastic week, friends! Make it a good one, and be thankful for the little things.
Quote of the day: “I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.”
“Have I gone mad?”
“I’m afraid so, but let me tell you something, the best people usually are.”
My oh my, what a wonderful day. Elizabeth and I met at the Grand Floridian on a cool summer afternoon- thanks to the light cloud cover- quickly became friends, and began her session. We toured around the Victorian style hotel, chatting about Wishes, if the new fireworks show lives up to it (we both think it does), finding the best spots for images along the way. After spending some time at the Grand and an outfit change, we hopped aboard a empty monorail car (I mean, how perfect is that?!) and made our way to the Magic Kingdom. The best locations were found and images were captured, and we wrapped up as the light was fading to make way for the nightly fireworks spectacular.
Both spunky and sweet with a love for magic and whimsy, Elizabeth is a Disney fan through and through. She will be graduating high school early and will be receiving her Associates degree simultaneously this coming spring. Alice is her favorite character, she loves being involved in her local church, and will be heading to UCA to obtain her bachelor’s in business with the goal of working for Disney corporately. I know for certain this will happen- she oozes the Cast Member personality + mentality and just needs the name tag. Elizabeth, you absolutely shone during your senior session and it was a blast getting to hang out with you! I wish you all the best in your future, and if you’re ever back down this way let’s grab some pineapple pizza and have a Disney day.
Enjoy the images.
Have a magical weekend, friends!
Quote of the day: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Golden light + a miniature library + a sweet senior make for a simply superb session. We met at our first location- Emily with an actual carload of books, along with a bow + arrow and Minnie Mouse ears- and began the trek into the slightly overgrown field which was perfectly gold and green thanks to the clear sky and sunshine. It was a perfect setting: we spread out a blanket and arranged the books all over it to make the idyllic, quiet afternoon scene. Emily and I share a love of books, Disney, and being out-of-doors in natural and woodsy places, and got along splendidly as we ventured through the field, chatting about debate teams, books, fall plans, and travel.
This fall, Emily will be heading off to the Hicks Honor College at the University of North Florida to study a plethora of subjects, such as international relations, astronomy, political science, chemistry, physics, and Spanish. She is an extremely bright gal and aspires to work at NASA, SpaceX, or the United Nations. We wrapped up our time under old oak trees with a little red wagon filled with books, under a sunset which capped off our time perfectly. Emily, your session is a highlight from this senior season, and I am excited for you and your new adventure in the fall! I wish you all the best.
Enjoy the images.
Have a restful weekend, friends! Read some books, make some tea, and spend your time well.
