Dreaming of distant lands and faraway places with Diana, class of 2018. ✨ She’s Katy Perry’s #1 fan, Disney Minnie Mouse ear collector, and we had an absolute blast on her session. We started off on a pastel colored Main Street, against the backdrop of cheerful music and smells of a sweet shop, chatting about life, our shared love of Disney, and art- she’s a fellow artist and showed me a few of her recent pieces from a project. They were amazing. As we made our way through the most magical place on earth, we found the best spots for photos, rode a few rides, and wrapped up underneath a soft, warm sunset as the lights came on for the evening.
Diana is a cool cat: as mentioned previously, she is a big fan of Katy Perry, saw her in concert, and will be heading off soon to a magical place to see her in concert again. Musicals are also her jam- Waitress and Hamilton in particular- and her perfect day would be spent in New York City, shopping, eating sushi, hanging out with friends and family and ending the day with an ice cream run. After graduation, she will be heading off to the University of North Florida to study American Sign Language and Deaf Education, which are her passions. Diana, I had such a great time hanging out during your session and wish you all the best in the fall + beyond!

Have a marvelous weekend, friends!

Y’all, I am so excited to bring this session to the blog today. It was one of those days when everything came together- the locations, amazing senior, and her vintage style. Creativity was flowing and everything meshed perfectly. The shoot was vintage and yet new, editorial and classic, and I adore the images we captured. Without further ado, say hi to Mesyk: fellow Lord of The Rings fan and thrift shopper who dreams of traveling to Austria to visit The Sound of Music locations, and is a fan of all things Chick-Fil-A, especially their vanilla milkshakes.
She’s a kind and intelligent gal who will be graduating from high school this spring and attending college to pursue a BSN degree in Nursing and become a Registered Nurse. Her perfect day would include a road trip with friends, complete with music from The Beatles and Ed Sheeran, a picnic, and bonfire. We ended her session under a fiery sunset on the top of a bridge, thankful for a great day. Mesyk, your session was one in a million and I love the images we captured. I wish you all the best in what you set out to achieve!
Enjoy the images.
I hope you’re having a marvelous week, y’all! I’m wrapping up the school year and can’t wait for summer.

And the rain rain rain came down down down… 🎶 At least for two 15 minute periods during the lovely Isabella’s session. Florida weather is strange, y’all! Rain aside, her session was one for the books and practically perfect in every way. We began on the cheeriest of streets and traipsed through the most magical place on earth, chatting about her college plans, our favorite musical theater productions, and all things Disney. Isabella is a big fan of 90s shows, Mary Poppins, mozzarella cheese, and she aspires to travel through Europe one day. After graduation in the spring, she will be heading off to pursue a degree in the magical major of Musical Theater, something she discovered in 4th grade and has been passionate about ever since. Isabella, I adore the images we captured and had a blast hanging out during your session! I wish you all the best in college + beyond.
Enjoy the images.
Have a lovely rest of your week, friends! Finish strong.

She is beauty, she is grace. No, really, she is: meet Grace, class of 2018. We met on a beautiful, golden day in the midst of a cloudy and cold week at a seaside boardwalk resort and began her session. A Disney fan through and through, Grace and I hit it off talking about our favorite things at the parks, her college plans, the wonderful creation that is a Dole Whip, and reading. After graduation this spring she is heading off to Notre Dame to major in chemical engineering and aspires to become a Disney Parks and Resorts Imagineer. That sounds pretty perfect to me. Chicago is her favorite city, she is extremely knowledgeable about all things Disney snacks, reading is her favorite pastime, and she has visited Walt Disney World over 30 times and lives all the way over in Texas!
We made our way around the pastel colored storefronts and then transported over to a different set of pastel colored storefronts, complete with smells of cotton candy and sounds of four part harmony in the background. The light was beautiful, her outfits were perfect, and she even had a pair of rose gold Minnie Mouse ears. Underneath a dusky sky, we celebrated a successful session with Dole Whips and laughter. Grace, I adore your session and the images we captured. I wish you all the best in college + beyond!

Have a magical rest of your week, friends! Make it count.
