It’s a truth universally acknowledged that happiness is the spice of life. Well, I’m not sure if that’s how the saying goes, but I believe it to be true. Madelyn’s shoot was indeed a happy time and everything- from timing, to outfits, light, and weather- came together perfectly to make an unforgettable session. Madelyn and I met inside the most magical place on earth on a chilly day and started down Main Street with big band music and cotton candy smells wafting in the background. Not only did she have beautiful vintage inspired outfits (one was an adorable Disneybound) which fit incredibly well with the Magic Kingdom’s whimsy, Madelyn walked effortlessly through the entire park in high heels: a feat in and of itself.
Madelyn is a born performer, with a bright personality fit for the stage. She’s an actor, singer, dancer, and was an absolute natural in front of the camera, which made her session a dream. We traipsed through the park, looking for and finding corners and places soaked in light, discussing shows, Wicked (which I had just seen), school, Disney, and her favorite shows in which she’s performed. Her ultimate trip would be to New York and she aspires to become an actress on Broadway, which I believe is perfect for her. Madelyn, you’re incredibly talented and fun to be around, and I wish you the best in all you set out to achieve!
Enjoy the images.
Have a magical weekend! Make it great.
