Golden light, guinea pigs, a beautiful + spunky senior, and cool weather make for an unforgettable time. Leslie and I met on a chilly Florida day at the beginning of the golden hour under old moss-laden trees and began her session. I was more than thrilled to be able to incorporate the fluffy little piggies Smoochie, Brie, and Basil into Leslie’s shoot, even though a small chase scene ensued when one of the piggies made an escape attempt through the oak leaves and moss. The attempt was foiled, the guinea pig recaptured, and the shoot continued.
We explored under the oak trees for the best patches of light and were followed by a crisp breeze. Leslie is a natural in front of the camera, and I loved capturing her fun personality while chatting about guinea pigs, senior year, how surprisingly cold it was, and school options in the fall. After finding a fun new backdrop at our location, we ventured on to the beach, which boasted a cutting breeze and the last few minutes of the day’s warm golden light. We wrapped up the session, found her a sweater, and called it a successful day. Leslie, your shoot was one in a million and I adore the images we captured. I wish you all the best!
Enjoy the images.
Have a fantastic and productive week, friends!
