Senior season started off with an absolute bang: golden rays of sunshine, a gorgeous gal, and a downright wonderful time.
Jayme and her family traveled over 1500 miles to come down to Florida from Oklahoma, and her session could not have been more perfect. Although it rained cats and dogs an hour before our start time, the weather miraculously cleared and we were treated to unadulterated sunshine-y goodness and slightly cooler weather with loads of humidity. We met up outside a happenin’ taco establishment and got started with the shoot.
We traversed downtown, talking about life, school, Disney (surprise!), and the cuteness of pugs, while dodging intermittent puddles and foot traffic and bicyclers on the damp sidewalk. I miscalculated a step and soaked my shoes in an unsuspecting puddle, and made sure the rest of the party didn’t make the same wet mistake. I ended up barefoot at the end of the shoot, so it was all good.
Jayme is an absolute doll and brought a joyful energy to our afternoon together; we bonded over a love of hats, a shared dislike of change, and a common mastered skill of sleeping in late, all while snapping away. She digs extra crispy kit-kats, running + cross country, singing, and playing the piano. When baseball is on, she roots for the Texas Rangers and also enjoys baking- especially chocolate chip cookies, with which I totally agree. I’m thankful for the time we had together during her session and I’m excited to bring her images to the blog today.
Have an absolutely wonderful Monday, folks. May it be filled with positivity, diligence, and a whole lot of getting-stuff-done.
Sidenote: Seniors! Now is the time to book a shoot before school gets too crazy, midterms strike, and senioritis sets in. Shoot me an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org to get talking. 🙂
