Disclaimer: Maggie is one of the sweetest and kindest people out there. That won’t change anything else I’m about to say; I just wanted to state it first because it is true.
We started off at a lovely field with balloons in tow and chatted about life, hiking, and art, all while watching out for fire-ant piles. Golden light peeked its way through the trees and we began shooting. It was a perfect day. Maggie is a kindred, artsy soul, and enjoys painting and spending time outdoors by way of hiking, running, or relaxing; her passions pair perfectly with her desire to help others through an Art Therapy major.
Every session has its own story, and this one is no different. Maggie came from North Carolina for her session (that’s pretty cool, right?!) during the summer, but it rained solidly for the entire week she was here in Florida. Fast forward to the fall: she traveled down again, and we were blessed with gorgeous weather and amazing light, which more than made up for all the rain and cancellations of the summer. Maggie, you are absolutely incredible, and I wish you success in everything you set out to accomplish.
Enjoy the images.
Have a wonderful week, everyone.
PS: If you’re interested in a senior session but live in a different state, let’s talk. I love to travel!
Quote/verse of the day: “For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.”
