At the Moment, 10-19-15

Well, hello there. I hope you had a great weekend and that your day is going well. Mondays have become a favorite of mine because I have no classes to attend and it’s just the day to get stuff crossed off that pesky list. I had a shoot with Juan (pictured above) the other day, and it was a blast. Amongst the endless editing and accounting homework problems, I’ve been up to a few other things here and there. At the moment, I’m…

Eating chocolate covered cranberries by Dove. So. Stinking. Good.
Listening to Joshua Powell & the Great Train Robbery’s new album, Alyosha. Its title is inspired by the Russian novel, The Brothers Karamazov, and the tracks are inspired by a slew of various pieces of literature, musings, and personal experiences by the band’s foreman, Joshua. You can check it out on iTunes, and here’s the link for your utmost convenience: Alyosha, by Joshua Powell & the Great Train Robbery
Realizing that caffeine is a two edged sword. Yes, being alert during the day is nice, but being so at 2am is not.
Starting to understand that cooking is actually a covetable talent. I’ll be gone for the Disney College Program next semester, so I have some learning to do.
Not drinking Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Support your locally owned businesses, guys.

That’s about it for now. Have a wonderfully productive week, and I’ll check back in next Monday with a brand new senior session!

PS: If you want to sample some of Joshua’s music for free, he has two EPs here: free music. You can also leave a tip for the download, if you like what you hear. Or even if you don’t. (Sidenote: I don’t get paid to promote anything on my blog; I just like saying good things about good things.)

Quote of the day: “Music is an outburst of the soul.”
