Taylor Bird, Class of 2015

Meet Taylor. She’s a sunset-loving, beach-going, and all around lovely person. As of late, the band Rebeloution has captured her ear, and their song Meant To Be especially resonates with her. Spending time with her family and chillin’ outside with friends are two of her favorite pastimes, and every good day ends in watching Footloose or an episode or two of CSI. After graduation, Taylor plans on attending Indian River State College while deciding on what to pursue next.

The beginning of this shoot went spectacularly.; there were some clouds, but the diffused light worked well with our location. As we continued on, the skies continually became darker, and then it started to rain. This wasn’t a wimpy little rainstorm- it was a deluge. In a time crunch because I’m going out of town soon (more about that later!), we quickly rescheduled for a few days later and were rewarded with sunshine and blue skies. Major win. I fulfilled a dream of shooting in front of an old, distressed wooden wall (it was seriously amazing), and the location she chose was just perfect. Taylor, you’re an amazing person, and I wish you all the best in what you set out to achieve!

Enjoy the images.

Have a marvelous rest of your week!

Quote of the day: “You’ve got to take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you’ve got, and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget. Learn from mistakes, but never regret.”
