Kaylee is one cool cat. Her jam is Ingrid Michaelson and she loves to travel. She’ll be heading off to Guatemala this July for a year long missions trip before continuing in her college studies. Corinthians 4:16-18 is currently her favorite Bible verse and in her downtime she likes to play the guitar in her stringed-light encircled room with the obligatory candle burning in the background. Oh, and she also likes to randomly do handstands. I told you she’s cool.
This photoshoot was quite last minute, and I’m extremely thankful that Kaylee was able to find a date in the pre-high school graduation craziness to model. We worked on a 1940s inspired theme and were able to obtain some nifty luggage and props to spice up the images. This post is actually a day late since I strive to plan, shoot, and post within the same month, but I didn’t account for how busy my graduation week and weekend would be. Instead, I let it go and threw my self imposed deadline out the window. We had a great time on the photoshoot and I am absolutely thrilled with the results.
Enjoy the images! Have a fantastic Sunday, friends!
Quote/Verse of the day: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
-2 Corinthians 4:16-18
