Heading Home

What a world class weekend. If you checked the blog last Wednesday you’ll know that I went on a trip to Tennessee with the fellow seniors in my youth group to ice skate, tube, and have a rollicking good time. I’m technically still on the trip, but today it’s 12 hours heading south in the car. My main goal/long standing wish was to see snow, and dang, I did. On the first day in the cabin everyone woke up to sleet, but 20 minutes later it transformed into real honest-to-good snow. The enthusiastic Floridians (that’s us) ran outside then quickly reconsidered and scurried back in to put on proper snow gear. After that, we all had a blast frolicking in the snow. I’ll have more pictures and stories up in a new post soon!

Have a great Monday.

Quote of the day: “The very fact of snow is such an amazement.”
-Roger Ebert
